Just had to post a comment. While doing a search for Chile Santiago East mission on the internet I came upon your site. My son, Elder Zane Bartlett, from Chandler, Arizona, is currently serving the same mission as your son. He, too, arrived at the MTC on August 5th, departed from the MTC on October 5th, and flew to Chile on the same flight schedule as your son. Perhaps one day they will be companions in the field! It is so exciting they are finally in Chile! :-) Nice blog! I should probably create one for Zane, too. His friends would love it!
